This nicely treed lot is likely going to appeal to someone who really appreciates nature and has a "green" outlook in life. This is the largest lot in the subdivision with a total of 7.76 acres. Part of this acreage is a delightful marsh that is open and sunny. Although it is usually completely dry in the summertime, it is a watering hole for deer and other wildlife most of the year, and is home to many species of birds. At the time of the subdivision getting approval, the Regional District asked for a Covenant that would restrict any development in the immediate marsh lands, and for 15 meters back from the wetland perimeter. The other restriction placed on these lots is one home only, in an effort to reduce the human footprint and let nature have a place to survive and live side by side with their human counterpart. Anyone who enjoys bird watching and the study of other mammals etc. is likely to find this area a paradise.
